ParGarCom has been one of the 17 selected projects (out of 255 across Europe) in the 2nd call for experimentation projects in Organicity.
With this project, we aim to build an environment where open data are mixed in a co-creation process with information provided by city users (be it citizens or visitors). To reach this goal, we focus on parks and gardens of the city of Santander, since these green areas are both important for locals and an attraction for tourists.
Organicity is a collaborative research project funded by the European Commission within the framework program H2020, during the period from January 2015 to June 2018, with an overall budget of more than 7 million euros and 15 partners, including three cities: Santander (Spain), London and Aarhus (Denmark). Organicity aims to explore how ‘Experimentation as a Service’ could enable city stakeholders to co-create digital solutions to their urban challenges.
